COPYRIGHTS KEEP TV SHOWS OFF DVD. Wired News reports that popular TV shows will never be released on DVD due to the high costs (and hassle) of clearing the rights for music in them. For example, WKRP in Cincinatti is unlikely to ever be released on DVD because the show contained a ton of music. (read full article here).
