In the fall of last year, Tom Waits sent Jesca's demos to his publisher who in turn sent it to KCRW DJ Nic Harcourt. Harcourt played the song "Seeds of Wonder" on his show "Morning Becomes Eclectic" and it caused such a stir that it became the most requested song for 8 consecutive weeks.
